Michael Cooper MA ONZM 4 star rating

“Offering good value, this wine is usually hand-harvested from the estate’s younger vines at Gladstone and matured for a year in seasoned French oak barrels. Full, bright ruby, the 2023 vintage (****) is mouthfilling, generous and supple, with cherry, plum, spice and slight tamarillo flavours, savoury notes adding complexity, and fresh acidity to keep things lively. A ‘serious’ but approachable red, it should be at its best mid-2026+” 11 Dec 2025 Michael Cooper
