2019 Johner Estate Lime Hill Vineyard Pinot Noir – Silver Medal NZ International Wine Show 2023, and Silver 4 star ribbon Bob Campbell MW Real Review

This Silver Medal winning Pinot Noir is from our Lime Hill Vineyard which is on the outskirts of Masterton, set on 1.3 Ha on a gently sloping hill with a thin layer of clay on limestone.  This terroir produces a Burgundian style Pinot Noir from vines established in 2013.

A nose of dark red, ripe berryfruit medley with the barest hint of French Oak vanilla bean.  The mouth feel is of a rich intense mid-palate with well balanced acidity and tannins.

Incredible value and the potential of cellaring for another 8 years.
