TASTING NOTE MAY 2010
Intense flavours of elder, ripe gooseberries and cassis. Beautifully lively and fresh on the palate with a present mineral layer. The result of the 11 g/l residual sugar and the crisp acidity is a wine with a vibrant fruit character. A long finish of tropical fruit aromas.
The harvest of the vintage 2010 was 3 weeks later than normal. There were only thre weeks left between picking and bottling the Ouvertuere.
We recommend to drink the Ouvertuere until Easter 2011. After that the wine will loose its fruitiness and freshness.
