2010 Riesling Wairarapa

TASTING NOTE
Bright pale lemon-straw colour with youthful green hues, this has a soft and delicate bouquet of florals, white peaches and lime fruit. Off-dry to taste, this is light and subtle with its mineral and lime flavours, and crisp with good acid freshness. Some phenolic textures are present, adding depth and palate line. Fruit from the Johner Estate and Paulownia vineyards fermented to 12.4% alc. and 15 g/L rs. An uncomplicated and clean Riesling, to drink as an aperitif, over the next 3-5 years. It will develop honeyed and toasty interest. 16.0/20 Mar 2011 RRP $18.00
