2011 Pinot Noir Rosé Wairarapa

TASTING NOTE
This Rosé offers intense strawberry and raspberry flavours with subtle floral nuances. In a vibrant fresh and style the palate maintains a nice balance between fruit residual sugar and acidity. A lush wine and icredibly appealing on a hot summer day.

WINEMAKER’S NOTE
The vintage 2011 was particulary hot in the summer and we had a dry climate in autumn. This Rosé selection is from young Pinot Noir vines. We picked the Rosé in April in several periods. To make this wine we began with red winemaking techniques. But after de-stemming, grapes and juice were left in contact for just one day. The juice was then transferred to stainless stell tanks for a cool fermentation to preserve the naturally fresh fruits components. After fermentation the wine aged for 3 months on the yeast. The bottling was in August 2011.

SERVING SUGGESTION
enjoy as a terrace wine, at barbecue parties, bouillabaisse, snail soup, grilled tuna
