2016 Chardonnay Wairarapa

FermentCH_Wairarapa_Ked with indigenous yeasts and matured for nine months in barrels, 25 per cent new oak

We are fortunate enough to have very good fruit from an established Martinborough vineyard whose vines are now over 20 years old. This Chardonnay has a purity of fruit character boasting fresh pineapple and grapefruit with a touch of vanilla oak. Mouth filling and vibrantly fruity, with fresh, citrusy, peachy flavours, slightly creamy and biscuity notes adding complexity, and a smooth, lingering finish.
