With our 3rd wind machine we were able to protect the vineyards much better from frost than last year. We had a reasonably normal fruit set, but nevertheless very low crop yields in the Pinot Noir. Summer was very dry with water restrictions in some places. Thankfully, we had enough water, so that our vines kept on growing and maturing. With a double defoliation, and precise canopy management, the vineyard just looks great and is waiting for the harvest to come.

Harvest started on the 27th of March with some beautifully ripe Sauvignon Blanc…for more details, please follow on with our Weblog.
