THE SEASON 2005
During the flowering period, we had a bad weather period generating a low fruit set. These small Grapes could then ripen quickly during a great summer.
But unfortunately, we had a great amount of rain, just before the crush. Our absolutely ripe Grapes were hit by a noble Botrytis.
THE HARVEST 2005
Only 100% sane berries could be used for the red wine production. Fortunately, we could also buy some sain Grapes from our Neighbour, to ensure enough wine. The noble botrytis berries were then vinified to a “Noble Pinot Noir”.
Our new dessert wine release enthused the taster of the Winestate Magazine and won 4 stars!!
