  1. Karl,

    Great to remember you!!

It was related to that time when I was President of the Martinborough Wine and Food Society when I saw the New Zealand pinot noir wine maker winner item in the magazine called Decanter.

You were the one who got the top prize for the Pinot Noir in New Zealand.

And yes, you were in Germany when I found from your company you were out and you were not due home until after our Friday meeting at the Martinborough Golf Club place. However magically you changed your come home time to be there that Friday – Great to have met you as the winner!!

  2. Karl,

Your Pinot Noir Reserve one from 2011 @14 per cent was great.

Like my surprise of you winning the Pinot Noir for NZ all those years ago was great.

See you this next Sunday at about 3 pm.

    Regards and Cheers!!

  3. Hello Irene and Karl,

Hope you remember me, I visited you earlier this year while researching Carterton for a travel feature in Motorhomes Caravans and Destinations. It will appear in the December issue available in supermarkets and most book stores.

Hope you like it, I enjoyed visiting your winery,
